剧情介绍：
该剧讲述了武阳市双华县楼门乡，以乡党委副书记席飞为代表的乡、县干部及记者全心全意为百姓办实事的故事为了解决老百姓吃水难的问题，他们发动群众一起开发水窖，使每家每户都不再为吃水发愁；为了让村里富起来，他们和群众一起上山修路，开发温泉，办乡镇企业，招商引资。席飞等人因极力反对为了应付上级领导的视查而弄虚作假，与乡党委副书记、乡长白仲军等无视农民利益的另一部分人发生了分歧和矛盾，由此展开斗争，并最终取得胜利，维护了广大老百姓的利益，赢得老百姓的爱戴和拥护。
