剧情介绍：
宋慈（何冰 饰）参加京试中了进士，预备返家完婚后随同科好友孟良臣（吴军 饰）赴边城。岂知，直至完婚那日，宋慈父亲宋巩依旧未归家。两位新人正拜堂之际，一辆马车却载回了父亲的遗体，宋巩一生从事刑狱审戡，从未出错，却因一次误判人命功亏一篑，这是以死谢罪，还留下遗书禁止宋门后代涉足刑狱。
